Delavan-Darien High School Scholarship Information
The Delavan-Darien School District is supported by more than 70 scholarships annually, through the Delavan-Darien School District Foundation, the Borg Foundation, scholarships offered by families through the School Administration Center, and scholarships offered through local organizations, businesses, and other groups.
The Delavan-Darien School District Foundation was founded in 1972 through the efforts of Wally Zimmerman, a long-time athletics director for Delavan-Darien High School. The Foundation’s purpose then, and today, is to promote education in the Delavan-Darien School District through the granting of scholarships. The Foundation awards dozens of scholarships totaling more than $100,000 annually.
The Borg Foundation was established in 1959 by George W. Borg. It is the oldest foundation that financially supports the district. Today, it awards students with three scholarships, totaling more than $15,000 annually.
Students and teachers often partner with local organizations and businesses to foster relationships and encourage learning. By working together, the district and local organizations enhance the education of our students and build connections that support our district.
